The Outreach Program sends trained paraprofessionals into the community to assist people in obtaining these needed services and benefits. This counseling is provided either through office visits at one of several Outreach Stations in the County, or through scheduled home visits.
The Cumberland County Nutrition Program is funded by Title III of the Older Americans Act, to provide nutritious meals in a social setting to the senior citizens of the County.
The MOW program provides a hot, nutritionally balanced meal, Monday – Friday, to the home of those elderly who cannot prepare or procure a hot meal. Low sodium and diabetic meals are provided when prescribed by a physician.
Senior Health Insurance Program provides free counseling and information on health insurance and assistance with completing Medicare and other health insurance forms.
Your community needs you! Retied Senior Volunteer Program can help you use your skills and talents to assists others. Volunteers are the “Helping Hands” of the majority of non-profit organizations and are often in short supply.
The Cumberland County CATS Program provides bus transportation to county residents who are aged 60 or older; Veterans; persons with disabilities; and the general public.
